Foundation 45 Mitsubishi Presents Donation to Spring ISD Police Department’s Dream Makers Student Initiatives

This school year, Foundation 45 Mitsubishi has partnered with the Spring ISD Police Department with a donation of over $4000 to help support their Dream Makers project. Having recently distributed over 3500 backpacks full of school supplies to K-5 students within the Spring, Houston, and Aldine ISD’s, it was clear there is still a need to make a larger impact in their community. Foundation 45 Mitsubishi and Foundation Automotive Corp. are passionate about getting money into the hands of the people and programs who need it most.

“It’s business such as Foundation 45 Mitsubishi that help bridge the gap between law enforcement and students as they grow up and become productive citizens in our community,”

The Spring ISD Police Department spearheads many student-focused initiatives. Dream Makers is a flagship district-wide student leadership program that offers mentorship, encouragement, engagement, and rewards for acts of leadership and kindness in students. Blue Santa partners Spring ISD police officers with 30 students from the school district to a dinner and a $200 shopping spree. Programs like this strongly encourage relationship building with officers, students, and the community. This year Blue Santa will take place on December 13th in the Spring community shopping area. The Blue Santa program has a fundraising goal of $6000, and Foundation 45 Mitsubishi’s contribution was able to cover over half of that! Foundation 45 also sponsored a police chief, a lieutenant, a corporal, and an officer for their Read With a Cop literacy program.

Chief Ken Culbreath, Chaplain John Goodman, Detective Burk, and K-9 Officer Flanley were all on location to accept the donation. “It’s businesses such as Foundation 45 Mitsubishi that help bridge the gap between law enforcement and students as they grow up and become productive citizens in our community,” said Chaplain John Goodman. “As businesses invest in our student programs, it sends a clear message that police officers are not just around for a negative interaction. It also lets students and parents know that officers within the school district are on campuses and in the community to see that they obtain a quality education in a safe environment.”

Foundation 45 Mitsubishi was established in 2020 within Foundation Automotive Corp. Foundation is a family business that will continue to give back to Texas with frequent giveaways to local residents, working with local charities, fundraising, and unrivaled community focus and involvement. “It’s so important to support our first responders. We have an amazing group of individuals in the Texas area that have such a passion for people and put their own lives on the line every day,” said Chuck Kramer, COO of Foundation Automotive.

Foundation 45 Mitsubishi, currently the #1 sales satisfaction dealer in the district, happily serves customers within their community with the highest quality of new and used vehicles.
